well i know that some internet sites help the wolves so you can help those sites out by donating money or maybe even just signing up on their sites would add to the ongoing struggle the wolves face.
The widespread gray wolf is not considered an endangered species, but the red wolf is. The last 110 or so are fully protected in North Carolina's Alligator River Refuge in the eastern part of the state.
People can create a petition, they can create organizations....
anyone can do anything to save them as long as they put their mind to it!
Captive breeding and ban hunting them down
Donate to the Red Wolf Recovery Project in North Carolina, the only place wild red wolves can be found today.
you can raise them and study them, that will help! ^.^
Stop hunting them. And keep them on the endagered species list so that they are protected.
Gray wolves are not endangered and are listed as a species of least concern.
I hear scientists are trying to recover DNA from extinct animals (such as a species of mammoth) to clone them back from extinction. I imagine that could be done with extinct wolves (e.g. dire wolves), too, although I'm not sure how far along they are with the science. Apart from that, there's no helping an extinct animal since they are, after all, extinct.
All of them... That's what "extinct" means. Although there are no known populations of gray wolves in South Dakota, that does not mean that gray wolves are extinct. There are gray wolves in other states, such as Minnesota which has the largest population of wolves. A successful reintroduction program has been done in Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming.
One thing that is being done to stop Asian elephants from becoming extinct is to enforce stricter laws on poaching. Protecting their habitat is also a way to help them.
Poaching has been prohibited.
panda express puts money into them and some zoos
if farmers sopted hunting them then there would be more quaggai left and that would prevent the quaggai from being extinct
Polar bears are not becoming extinct. The population is actually increasing. Although a warming climate could affect their numbers, as of yet they show no decline in overall numbers. Source; World Wildlife Fund
people are putting them in zoos and taking good care of them! They are having fun
people are keeping more careful not to hurt the prairie dogs
A number of reefs have been established where fishing and other humans are prevented
save them
If the reason for its endangerment is hunting, stop hunting. If it is habitat destruction, preserve its habitat. A catch-all is to breed it in captivity and then release them into the wild at a later point.
