∙ 12y agoTravel by air is available into Rapid City, South Dakota. But to actually get to Mount Rushmore you will need a car, bus, motorcycle, or RV.
You can try riding a bike, but, unless you are in excellent shape or have lots of time, it is not a recommended form of travel as you will be traveling in a mountainous area.
