You can get a Mexican passport by visiting the Mexican Consulate office and filing the necessary paperwork. Although it is not done very quickly and can be a process of several weeks.
In the UK go to the Passport office and ask for same-day service and pay the extra and you will get a passport the same day.
In the US go to the local post office they can guide you in the correct direction.

As of 2013, a ten year Mexican passport costs $136.00 USD. A Mexican passport that expires after six years costs only $101.00 USD. Obtaining a 10 year passport would be a more economical purchase.
