In order for you to check your balance in a Pakistani bank you will have to have your account number and have it set to where you can check it online. You go into you account and click on account balances.
No unfortunately you cannot. You may call your branch and ask for them to check your balance for you.

The swift code for all UBL Branches in Pakistan is UNILPKKA
I am not certain but the earlier answer is definitely wrong. This is because Pakistani transit codes have 7 digits, unlike US codes, which have 9. In addition, Pakistani codes are institution-based, unlike US codes, which are geographic. For example, the code for any bank in Pakistan will be first 3 digits for bank and last 4 for branch. An example is City Branch, UBL Karachi, where I bank: 0860605. All branches of UBL nationwide would start with 086, and each branch would have different last 4 digits. In contrast, in USA, all codes are based on Federal Reserve zone, so UBL New York would start with 02 plus 7 digits and UBL Los Angeles (if it existed) would start with 12.
'UNILPKKA' - This is the swift code for UBL all across Pakistan.
