To your little sister you are her big sister even if there is only three or a few more years gap between your ages. Your little sister wants to grow up fast and is looking up to you so you must be careful what you say and do around her. Take quality time out with her such as letting her play with a bit of your make-up and helping her with it (less is best) or give her a little piece of jewelry you have that you don't use anymore. Also you could let her try on some of your older clothes to wear around the house so she feels more grown-up. Take her to the mall on occasion and look at clothes or whatever interests the both of you. Warn her against drugs and alcohol. If she is old enough to ask you questions about sex then keep it simple, but answer her. This way you will form a strong bond with your little sister and if she has any problems she will trust you enough to come to you. This will be extremely important during her early teens years when teens don't think their parents understand, but a sister will. The fact you even asked the question at all means you are a good mentor to your little sister.

Your little sister listens more then you think she does so be careful what you say never putt people down. Do some thing nice each day for some one maybe your little sister or your mom or any one. Make sure your sister knows that you love her. Trust me i have a little sister and people say that i am not that nice to her but they don't see what we do together.... my little sister doesn't listen to me either and we are always fighting and complaining to my mom and dad but that doesn't help at all....... i think i need to be a better big sister to her like my bug sister was to me.... the only way i think that i can do that is try to talk to her differently (either in the tone that i use with her, or use different words that she understands better and with my body language..) I think that maybe that will work...... but i sure helps you and your sister...... I me with mine hope i helped
