You can start it by making conversation about drugs with them. We all know that most teens have big curiosity. When they get the information they want to know from improper source, that could be the start of a big mistake, Therefore, parents need to talk about drugs with their children. It is not an easy thing for both parents and children because honesty and transparency from both side are needed to start the discussion.
Work harder to make most illegal drugs legal and educate people about the devastating effects of heroin (and all pain medicine currently legal) and meth and leave everyone else alone to their own decisions. Most people who like to eat LSD, Exstacy, and Marijuana have made a life style choice they are happy with, so leave them be. "Selfishness is not living as one wants to live, but asking other to live as one wants to live" It is that "christian" way of thinking that tries to forces everyone into one group, we are all different and deserve to have the right to make our own lifestyle choices.
The youth alone can not prevent drug abuse, as drug abuse is actually very common amongst all ages. Its needs to be a combined effort amongst the community to stop drug abuse. We can start by educating our youth the effects of drugs on their life and health. The main priority is to stop it at the young ages and hopefully it will slowly dwindle to not being so much of a problem.
Im sorry to say complete prevention is almost impossible. However, you can stop or at least slow down the drugs by performing regular, random drug checks say once a month. Im not sure if this is legal, but you could mandate a random school-wide manditory drug test, probably once a month since that's about how long it takes for THC to dissipate from urine. Violence on the other hand, may be a little easier to control. Placing a few monitors around the school just to watch would a good idea. You cant really prevent either of these, but you can slow it down or limit the cases. People will bring drugs or start a fight if they really want to, so....yeah.

School violence is when there is something violent happening at a school. The most recent outbursts of school violence have been shootings.
This really seems like a cut-and-dried question to me. If it's violent and takes place in school or on school property, it is school violence. If you are a participant in the violence on school property, you are involved in school violence.
