sometimes a person in power over others will not be viewed favorably by their inferiors. this is not always the case, but the person receiving the unfortunate, sensitive, or difficult news may not feel the sensitivity in the other person's voice. it's not normally an issue, but sometimes people views those in a position of power as people that would not understand where they are at and what they are going through
