Since the first Earth Day, April 22, 1970, it has been an annual event for people around the world to celebrate the earth and renew our commitment to building a safer, healthier and cleaner world for all of us.
There are many ways you can get involved: Volunteer. Go to a festival. Install solar panels on your roof. Organize an event where you live. Change a habit. Help launch a community garden. Communicate your priorities to your elected representatives.
The possibilities are endless! Do something nice for the earth, have fun, meet new people, and make a difference.
Here are some other suggestions:
- Plant a garden.
- Buy 100% reused shopping bags, or reuse a shopping bag you already have.
- Concentrate on using less water.
- REDUCE REUSE RECYCLE!
- We encourage that you don't keep the air condition running all day if the weather's nice.
Take care of the water, do not leave it running. And you can save energy in the tub or shower or save the heat energy.

∙ 15y agoPeople can help the earth on earth day by going outside, and picking up all the litter that is on the ground, or by conserving energy by turning off all the things that are not in use. However, another way is to recycle.

∙ 12y agoEarth Day is celebrated by doing activities such as planting a tree or anything to help the earth and where you live. Recycling is an easy way to help the earth. Like what I was taught, "Recycle and save a tree."
