Taylor started at the age of 11 and she was just singing. She went to Nashville weekly and recorded songs and gave her DEMO CD to record lables in Nashville. She knew she couldn't make it with just her voice and she told her mom she wanted to learn to play the guitar. So for Christmas she got a guitar. She never learned how to play because she got frustrated because her fingers were to small. She got accepted on a year growth contract. So they would promise to keep her a year and then decide if they were going to sign her or not. Her and her family moved to Nashville. So she turned 12 and her 1 year contract ended and they wanted to put her on another 1 year contract and she had to decide if she wanted to go on another 1 year contract or if she was going to walk. She deicided to walk away from the biggest record company in Nashville. Then she went to a open mic restraunt and sang. The founder of 'Big Machene Records' was at the restraunt at that time and asked her if when he got his reccord label if she wanted to work with him. And she said that she would wait on him. So when he got his business started she was his first singer at the age of 14.
