Easy.. turn the car on but do not start it. pump the gas pedal 3 times fast. turn the car off. then start the car. message board should clear. if not then try again. or you can use the factory radio. as below
that's an easy one. its done through the radio. with the stereo off hold in the dispay button for about 15 seconds and the radio will dislay settings. use the seek buttons and/or the 1 and 2 buttons to find the oil display. use the seek buttons to find reset and push the display button and it should reset it. this only works if you have a stock radio. if it doesnt then with the car on the on possition turn on and off your headlights a couple of times. youll hear a beep and that should do it. i don't recoment undoing the battery for it could mess with the brain in your car.
lastly if all else fails disconnect the battery cable for 10 to 15 minutes. if message wont clear. oil sensor may be bad :(
This light has to be reset by the person doing the oil change. It is not automatic when the oil is changed.
With engine off. Turn key to on. Press accelerator fully three times. This should reset light.
