Fuse #8 operates Horn,Amplifier AND Cigarette lighter (20 amp),LED being bad is due to faulty radio, slides out of deck after 2 X 3/8 sheet metal screws are removed.Answered my own question!
check your fuse, if fuse is good most likely the socket, or if the lighter is used often it can also fail.
If you can charge a cellphone in the lighter socket, then the lighter is no good. If a cellphone won't charge, then the lighter cylinder is no good. Both are available at any autoparts store.
8 --------- I own a 2006 Dodge Stratus, and I also had a problem with my cigarette lighter socket. I located the exact fuse by accident the other day. -The owner's manual DOES NOT specify a fuse for the cigarette lighter. -The internal fuse box cover DOES NOT specify a fuse for the cigarette lighter. (This fuse box is located below and to the left of the steering wheel. Access by opening the driver door, then pull the cover off to reveal the fuse box. The fuse diagram is under the cover.) -The fuse for the cigarette lighter is located in ANOTHER FUSE BOX UNDER THE HOOD next to the positive (red) jumper cable terminal. Remove the cover by pinching the tabs inward. The cigarette lighter fuse is a 20 amp fuse on the bottom row.
Its not below the dash where it normally is. Open the hood and it will be by the drivers side that says fuse box.
It has a specific fuse on the fuse panel under your steering wheel. Replace with specified AMPS and check.
If it's the lighter itself, and not the circuit, any auto specialties store will sell "generic" replacement lighters (the part you grasp and pull out), and 90% of the time, the lighter itself is the problem - they "burn out". If the problem is the lighter socket or circuit, I'd just write it off and forget about it.
NOT SURE WHY (HAVE AN 04 DODGE TOO). Must be linked in with the other battery operated items that only work if the ignition is in the on position or fully on.
Its the same fuse as for the HORN. Located on the side of the dash (drivers side) hidden by your drivers door when it is closed. Open the door and pull off the pop-off panel and it will be there.

Open drivers door look on side of dash end is covered when door is of shut a large cover "says" fuses on it pull hard inside it has extra fuses and where they go
I assume you mean the fuse keeps blowing? It's certainly possible for the lighter element itself to go bad as well as the socket you plug it into. Also, there are often other circuits that use the same fuse.
it might be the cigarette lighter or power outlet if you have anything in there it might do it if not im not sure i have a 2000 Mitsubishi montero sport and i had the same problem
