Mostly depending on the dog but overall, the German Shepherd.
They have been proven to have a stronger bite pressure and they are more athletic and strong than a rottweiler which is also very strong.
B:
This is true, and trust me, I've owned German shepherds all my life and they are extrfemely powerful, but Rotties (I have never owned but know alot about) are extremely powerful dogs too. So it varys... but yes, GSDS are more agile.
i think German shepherd is batter than ROTTweiler.
According to the show "Bite Force" by National Geographic:
Pit Bull bite was 238 lbs
German Shepherd bite was 240 lbs
Wild Dogs bite force was 317 lbs
Rottweiler bite force was 328 lbs
Lion bite force was very close to 700 lbs
Hyena's bite force was 1000 lbs
Snapping Turtle bite force was 1004 lbs
Nile Crocodile bite force was 2500 lbs
A German shepherd is a way better dog than a rottweiler. They are intelligent dogs which learn quickly and like to think. German shepherds are mainly dominant and need proper training. you could say German shepherds are very laid back dogs who love attention and being playful with their owners. Rottweilers are the best guard dogs in the whole world, and are very good with children if trained right. studies show they are also the most efficient dogs. Rottweilers have lost some popularity due to attacks but i think it should be blamed on the owner more than the dog.. once World War I came there was a need for possible police dogs. Fortunately, this peaked interest for German shepherds due to their intelligence, strength and loyalty. Rottweilers tend to have a bad reputation(because they are badass and elite) people over look their true nature and that is quite a shame. i have a friend who has a rottweiler and i have to say its the stupidest dog in the world.
Both German Shepherds and Rottweilers are very strong, muscular and athletic breeds, but the Rottweiler has more muscle mass and weight behind it. Of course, some German Shepherds will be stronger than some Rottweilers, as not all dogs in one breed are the same.
It depends how they were trained. Doesn't matter what breed they are. Usually I see rottwiellers trained to be more powerful and aggressive.
Rotties are more powerful, bodywise, but the german shepherd has the most powerful biteforce of any dog, even the pit bull.
I hope thats as in best pet to have.
They're both good dogs, providing you have the time and money and patience to bring these breeds up.
I think German shepherds.
for real? the rotty
Rottweiler.
The dog's height, and head size answers it. A german shepherd's bite force is secondary to the pitbull. But a german shepherd is still stronger. BITE FORCE LIST 1. rottweiler 2. german shepherd 3. pitbull
Pit Bull Bite: 235 pounds of force German Shepherd: 238 pounds of force Rottweiler: 328 pounds of force Lion: 691 pounds of force Hyena: 1000 pounds of force Dog bite strength is proportional to the size of the dog. So of the four listed breeds, the pit bull would on average have the least bite force, the bull mastiff would average the highest bite force, and the German shepherd, rottweiler, and bouvier would be between. Of course, a dog's bite strength on any given bite can vary widely, dependant on the level of agitation and bite-inhibition of the particular individual. The answer-changing nonsense below does nothing to answer the question and is entirely falsified. German shepherds have the most powerful bite. Current bite pressure record is 450-1000lbs (made by a German shepherd) their average bite pressure is 450 pounds
no because rottweiler has more powerful jaws
No, since German shepherds are built differently from that of a rottweiler, a rottweiler is more stronger and compact in built and has only of the most strongest bite and also because its weigh (40-almost 90kg) they will shake a German shepherd easily.
The top three domestic dog breeds with the strongest bite/psi are in this order. 1st the Rottweiler 2nd the German Shepherd Dog 3rd the American Pitbull Terrier
what a sick question, its apauling somebody would ask such a question that's disturbing that somebody would want to know. the answer is if the gsd dodged the first rotty bite and got the rotty from behing the rotty would be a gonna but what kind of sick person would want to know that. Rottweiler wins. I can't imagine a gsd wich is beat the rottweiler.
the reason being that pitbulls are not police dogs, because they have lockjaw. look up the definition of it. but the pitbull has a stronger jaw pressure 2,000 pds. per square inch, more than any canine. WRONG. They are not police dogs because german shepherds are faster, and pitbulls do not lock their jaw, they are like any other dog. Their bite isn't 2000 psi. If you want the strongest canine bite, that would be the gray wolf with 1500 psi. Of domestic dogs rottweiler has the strongest bite, german shepherd is 2nd and pitbull is 3rd.
Pit Bull Bite: 235 pounds of force In comparison… German Shepherd: 238 pounds of force Rottweiler: 328 pounds of force Lion: 691 pounds of force Hyena: 1000 pounds of force
Pit Bull Bite: 235 pounds of force In comparison… German Shepherd: 238 pounds of force Rottweiler: 328 pounds of force Lion: 691 pounds of force Hyena: 1000 pounds of force
A python is stronger, thicker, and longer than a german shepherd, but a german shepherd is faster and can bite the python if the dog is fast enough.
Pit Bull Bite: 235 pounds of force In comparison… German Shepherd: 238 pounds of force Rottweiler: 328 pounds of force Lion: 691 pounds of force Hyena: 1000 pounds of force
The german shepherd has one of the largest bite forces of all the canine world. That and it has a great sense of smell.
