I had a similar issue with an ef falcon wagon 95 mdl. I rectified this by removing each door switch, the little black one on the pillar that makes the lights go on and off much like the little penguin in your fridge when you close the door :). Remove these and clean the metal contact on the back with a fine wire brush and replace. This seemed to fix mine as I'm guessing the smart lock system still thinks there is a door open and wont lock. Also check your interior light globe as this has a similar effect. Hope this helps.
inside the locking unit in the door is a plastic screw jack that breaks. it can be repaired easily if you can trace the part. easy fix Simon
A pump that locks.
Sounds like you need to repair or or replace the main master switch (The one that controls all the doors locks) that is on the drivers door.

They have probably stopped because they are stripped or a wire got disconnected. It happened to my SUV and the back locks were stripped. It also doesn't help if you use them a lot.
They typically have a locking mechanism. And one can be added easily enough.
I/We lock.
if removed and replaced properly the interior locking button should always work.

the locks may be seized or just need to be locked and unlocked until they are freed up. If the jeep has sat for some time just try manually locking and unlocking each door.
If her name is on the deed you cannot change the locks. If her name is only on the mortgage you should consult with an attorney before locking her out.
