If you are talking about Eragon's dragons name it is Saphira. If you are just talking about the dragons in the series it is Thorn, Gladier and I dont quite remember Galbatorix's dragon's name.
The dragons in Eragon are Saphira, Thorn, and Firnen. Saphira is the bonded dragon of the protagonist Eragon, while Thorn is the dragon of the main antagonist Galbatorix. Firnen is a dragon hatched later in the series, bonded with Arya.
Eragon's dragon is Saphira
Murtagh's dragon is Thorn.
Oromis's dragon is Glaedr.
Galbatorix's dragon is Shruikan.
The titles of the books are: Eragon, Eldest, Brisingr. But the name of the series is the Inheritance Cycle(previously Inheritance Trilogy)
Eragon (1st book) ,Eldest, Brisinger, and Inheritance
the boks in order are Eragon, Eldest, Brisingr, and Inhertance
Eragon, Eldest, Brisingr and Inheritance
Brom told Eragon that female dragons' names end in -ia, which is a common suffix for female names. For example, the female dragon who chose Eragon as her rider is named Saphira.
In the book Eragon, the only dragons mentioned were Shruikandor (Galbatorix's dragon) and Saphira (Eragon's dragon). However, if that doesn't answer your question and you're really asking why Christopher Paolini wrote 3 dragons into the Inheritance series, then that's a pretty dumb question...
its about this boy called Eragon who finds a "stone" that turns out to be a dragons egg. after the egg hatches, Eragon is in danger......why? read the book and find out.
Eragon
Eldunari (The Hearts of Dragons)

The ones that are openly named in the series include: Saphira 2 - Eragon's Dragon Thorn - Murtagh's Dragon Glaedr - Oromis' Dragon Shruikan - Galbatorix's second Dragon Firnen - Arya's Dragon Shaphira 1 - Brom's Dragon Bid'Daum - The First Eragon's Dragon Belgabad - the largest Dragaon during the fall of the Riders Umaroth - Vrael's dragon Valdr - an Elder Dragon found in the Vault of Souls (an Eldunari) Vanilor - the king of the Dragons And then you have the 13 Dragons of the Forsworn whose names were banished so no one remembers them.
A good one is Eragon by Christopher Paolini and the sequel Eldest and Brisingr
Leader, trainer, protector, and guardian of the dragons and the riders to be chosen.
No love, Eragon is just a fictional move based on the book. His dragon is fake aswell as all othe dragons because they r fictional creations used in stores. So dont count on seeing "Eragon" or his "dragon" or any dragons.
