Ultram, also known as tramadol is known as an "opiate agonist", which means that it functions like opiates such as codeine or vicodin, yet is not chemically related to opiates. In short: NO
However it should be taken with caution as it can be just as habit forming as opiates. My guess would be that is because it binds with opiate receptors in the body just like opiates do. But that is just a theory

∙ 12y agoit seems that anyone can get on this site and say whatever they believe to be true but from all the research ive found thus far, no it will not show up. unless the medication you are taking contains codeine. anyone who has any information about the subject that im wrong about, prove it for me.
