Some newer models do still use the old "flasher relay" many of us remember from years gone by. However, most Chrysler models have turned this duty over to the computer...specifically, the Body Control Module. Is there a specific problem you're having?
The fuse box on the driver side of the dash. Open the door and pull the cover off. The panel has the information on the inside of how it's laid out.

The 2001 Mitsubishi signal flasher relay switch is located beneath the drivers side dashboard. The signal flasher relay switch will be above the accelerator pedal.

It is quite simple to replace the flasher relay switch on your 2001 Kia. The flasher relay switch simply plugs in and out.

The 2001 Monte Carlo emergency flasher relay switch and the turn signal flasher relay switch are the same. The flasher relay switch simply plugs in and out.
There is no flasher can. There is a relay at the lower left in the fuse panel on the side of the dash. There is one relay that serves both hazard and turn.
