There is no adjust on an AC clutch, it is a good or bad situation. The clutch is activated magnetically. If it is th ebelt you are asking about it should be kept tight by the belt tensioner. If it is still squealing, change the belt, if no help change the tensioner.
First thing to check if your slave is bled is the pressure plate athoue the clutch may have pressure, it dose not always engage the clutch all the way witch would cause slamming of the clutch. Anothing thigs to check on those if you have had you clutch changed resintly make sure that the proper clutch has been in stalted because there are a couple diffrent choise. If that's not it all I can think of is your slave is low on fluid. Hope this helps you. If not it was a start.Answercheck th eshifting/clutch fork it may be worn or cracked
hydraulic clutch does not have adjustment. replace the clutch it has a slave cylinder underneath and what you do is pump up the clutch and then hold it and have somone turn the line going itno th slave cylinder until you have clear fluid that is not how you bleed a clutch to the jeep owner, if you know how to bleed brakes on a vehicle, then you know how to bleed the clutch on a vehicle both done the same way.now if no parts of the clutch, such as master or slave cylander have been touched or let run out of fluid, there is still no need to bleed as that will not be the problem you might look at the linkage on the slave cylander. sometimes there is nylon bushing on the cylander rod that wears out. replace this bushing which is easy to do and your clutch will be good again.
ok if it is Neutral and you want to put it in to 4 high then push th clutch in then try to move it if it dose not move release out on the clutch just a little it might grind a little but should pop in to 4 high if this dose not work check your linkage on the side of you transfer case.

Try checking the u-joint bolts on the driveline. They need to be torqued at th e proper foot pounds. Or maybe clutch if it is a stick...

I messed that up, I wanted to say I am in the middle of replacing my clutch master cylnder on my 1989 ford ranger 2.9 5 spd , The bottom hose seems to be a hard plastic with two flared ends that seem inseperable from the tranny and master clyn. I ended up breaking the hose off of the tranny but can not for th elife of me figure out how to get the old section off or flare it again so it will fit. Also I can't find a bleeder for it either ... thank you ...

To answer this question we need the centuries. "Th" is not a word or number.
