ANS 2 - Super glue works best on hard, smooth surfaces. Not very suitable for wood, where white or yellow glue gives superior performance.

∙ 12y agoIt depends on what your goal is. If you are gluing wood to wood then wood glue is typically the best answer. However, if you are looking for something temporary then Elmers white glue is better, it's seal is far easier to break than wood glue. Also if you are trying to glue different materials together, like wood and metal, then a adhesive like Liquid Nails is best, however Gorrila Glue will also work and Elmers will even work in a pinch.
