Does shoplifting affect you applying for citizenship?

if at the time of the incident, the police was involved then it will be in your CRB for life. when you apply for British citizenship, a CRB cheque is done to cheque your records, the spent and non spent ones, and of coues the incident of shoplifting, but then, depends on how old where you at the time, the value of the theft items, where are you from, wethere you did it again after that or not....

Personally, I was caught shoplifting in 2006, and applied for indefinit stay to remain in the UK in 2010 and I got it, also I worked in various places involving money and confidentiality and had no problems at all. last month I applied for the British Citizenship, I am a bit worried but just hopping that I will get a good news to carry on with my life. I will update you with the result for my application ans at the main time all what I can say is that if you want to be fixed and really have the 100% correct answer for your question then you have to try it your self and hope for the best, and in case the worst happen then just be strong enough to not give up and continue in life and take it as if there is a price for everything in life, and when the worse hapends then is is just the price for the stupide thing that we done in the past which is nothing else than shopliffting.
