Yes, she has written many of her songs, and co-written others with collaborators. She doesn't write all of them though-it was reported that Harry Styles of One Direction penned a song for her 2013 album entitled "Yours Truly." Ariana Grande is a young pop star best known for her hit singles "The Way" featuring Big Sean and "Problem" featuring Iggy Azalea.

Ariana Grande always does write her own songs. Just because she makes some mistakes doesn't mean she doesn't write songs. Nobody even writes songs for Ariana Grande she does all the work by herself and that is what makes her a hard worker. I will always love her inside my heart forever. It is your opinion if you hate her but for me I will love her. If you think she writes songs horribly that is you opinion. I am not judging anybody or anything I just want to give you my opinion. Her song Baby I was originally written for Beyonce, same with the chorus of REM, she wrote most of REM though. She's written almost all her songs, with the exception of a few :)

She sampled the song "My Favourite Things" in her Single "7 Rings". She didn't steal it, and made the song with permission, ovbiously.

She does co-write a lot of her own songs. A lot of people think she doesn't because when they look at who wrote the songs they look for "Rihanna" when really they should be looking for Robyn Fenty, which is her real name. Out of her 6 studio albums so far, there are 2 albums where she didn't write any songs. Those albums are Good Girl Gone Bad, and Loud (her 3rd and 5th albums). As far as I know, she wrote at least a couple songs for her other albums.
