Most refrigerators have a thermostat to control the temperature over all and another control which regulates the flow of cold air from the freezer to the fridge. This is usually a dial in the freezer.
freezer
No. The freezer is what cools the entire fridge. Cut the freon line and the fridge is toast.
The guidlines that came with my fridge/freezer advised a setting of +40C for the fridge and -180C for the freezer.
The freezer is colder then the fridge because the freezer is to keep things frozen and the fridge is to keep things just cold. Somethings are meant to be frozen and if not then they get spoiled or ruined and same with the fridge.
A compact Comet fridge with a freezer combination can cost anywhere from $100 to $300. It all depends upon which features you need with your fridge and freezer combo.
The Freezer.
My fridge and freezer.
depends on how larger the freezer is and what the materials are used in the freezer and how much of that material is used in the freezer
If you mean, why does my fridge freeze things? It means that it is set a temperature that is too cold. Set it about 6-7 degrees above freezing. You should have a thermostat to use. It could also be affected by the setting in your actual freezer. Especially if you have a two or three door model with the freezer at the bottom of the unit. Check to see what your freezer setting is. It should be able to be dialed from "Warmer", "Colder" and "Coldest" settings. The last two settings are so cold they may affect the fridge temp as well as the freezer.
