No, because everyone has free will, and judgment is not our responsibility. One's morality can only dictate one's own behaviour, and perhaps guidance for those in their care, such as minors. Authority is the domain of those without morals.

Should we rankMorality Vs Practicality higher in Conflict Resolution?

Yes, morality should be ranked higher than practicality. With no morality, no solution, no matter how practical it can be, will be good enough. What define us as human beings is morality. Knowing whats good and right, and applying it to our daily life. This is not easy, because each culture has its own moral code, and what is moral for me, might not be moral for someone else. Thus, for true conflic resolution one must always use the other's moral point of view. David

How is religion a source of morality?

This topic can not easily be answered in a short statement. Many people have spent their whole lives answering this question. However, morality is often defined as a system of moral conduct put forth by a society. A society's religion often defines its system of moral conduct. So, your question is a little bit like asking, "what are the similarities between a car and its wheels?" The fun starts when one considers issues like: Religion is not the only definer of morality. What happens when one system of morality comes into contact with another? How do we know which system of morality is correct?

How do people know what is the morally right thing to do?

A:You define morality by what you believe is right. It is true that ideas of morality have evolved over the centuries, but hopefully we are reaching a point when we can define morality, with or without religion. Two examples of former moral beliefs: Once, even religious people believed that owning slaves was moral, but now agree that slavery is not moral.Once, religious people believed that those whose religious beliefs differed from their own could be killed at will, or forcibly converted. Now, good people of all faiths accept the right of everyone to hold their different religious views. Thus, it is also possible to follow a religion without holding any strong moral principles, or to hold to a moral belief system without having any religious beliefs. What is important is to follow our conscience and do what we know is right.
