It may or may not.
The horn goes off by itself on a 1998 Malibu as part of the security system. When the security system is enabled, noises and people touching the car can make the horn go off on its own.
It is because the horn relay is going bad. Mine finally went, now I have to find out how to replace it.
Car alarm needs to de-activated.
Go off road and test it their. Put power to it and see if it works. There is only one wire on it and that's the power.
No, the only way it ever gets that hot is if it is on fire.
This isn't something you can just randomly fixed. Go to an auto shop, have them do it.
Do a mass amount of explosive killing towards people in cars, then when you hear someones car horn go off go to your safe house and save, (it's better to do this before you complete a mission so it auto saves for you) after that you quit the game, from now on every time you play GTA in that certain spot where you did the mass killing, will be an infinite horn sound from a car that's not there.
if your horn wont go off its a short to power or faulty conector
To wire up a car horn with a button you first need to run one of the wires from the horn to the battery. Take 1of the wires from the horn and run it to where you want the button to go. Connect the wire to the button and that's it.
I believe there is a malfunction that Ford has not announced. My horn stopped working all together. I actually bought a new one (had it professionally installed) and it worked for about two weeks, then died a slow death (it would work once in a while but then eventually just never worked again). I haven't had a car horn at all for about 5 years. I periodically check the ford website for defects or recalls, but this one has never been mentioned.
HAHA! Mine goes off whenever a loud engine of a car or truck goed by, close by thunder, etc. It must have a really sensitive alarm system for shaking of the van.
Try putting the key in the driver's side door and locking and then unlocking it. It works in my 2001!
