no, but they have machines, and local police deprtments are on site for narcotics, and explosives dectection.
EDIT from another person:
actually, i used to work at a large UPS hub in a mid-sized city for a few months during college. i never once saw any local, state, or federal law enforcement there. nor did we have any "machines" (whatever that means). packages were brought in on the brown box trucks, thrown onto a belt, scanned, and thrown into a trailer for transport (either local or long-haul). never once were the contents of a package inspected or checked unless it was leaking or if it had a hazmat label. even stuff sent through air sort were never checked; the only thing that mattered was weight. UPS is too concerned with getting stuff off the truck and onto a truck that they have no time to inspect those packages. that's how things were at my terminal. your mileage may vary, and I'm not saying that's how it is at all hubs.

I'm not saying that's how it is at all terminals; i can only speak for the one i worked at.
be careful though... those packages sometimes burst or leak, no matter how well they are packaged. if i saw something while i worked there, i would have no option but to report it. if the package is small, assume that it is going to be thrown in the back of a trailer (top crushable).
By federal law they have to. It's a transportation company, and the DOT makes them do it.
Yes I have a friend that works foe ups and they drug tested him~preemployment.
Not only UPS, but all shipments are checked for even prescription drugs.
No one ever answered this. Do they? And WHEN?
FedEx and UPS shipments are not legally considered "mail." That designation applies only to the items handled by the US Postal Service. Shipments via FedEx and UPS (and other private companies) are shipped by "common carrier" and are considered "interstate shipments" under the jurisdiction of the Interstate Commerce Commission (ICC), just like freight. Stealing Anything is a CRIME!
There were some changes made to UPS prices on December 31, 2012 that were intended to apply to 2013. Additionally there has been an increase of 5.9% on certain shipments announced on May 31, 2013.

Advill, Tylenol, Pepto bismol.
Using UPS tracking service is really simple. First, get the tracking number from wherever the item was ordered or shipped from, usually it will be sent through email. Then going to UPS's website there is a link for tracking shipments, enter your number and it shows where the package has been and an estimated delivery date.
His behavior shows ups and downs. There is something wrong with him
Incoming shipments are ones comming into your organization (purchases). Outgoing shipments are onew going out (sales).
UPS offers a tracking number for ground shipments that allow you to determine the location of your package from the moment it leaves their store. This is convenient over other shipping companies like USPS because you can better determine where you package is at and if it is on time for its expected delivery date.
