No, there is no such right to rescind or cancel within 3 days for a residential lease.

∙ 12y agoYES! I called the NJ real estate Commission and found out you have 3 business days after the lease is signed by both owner and tenant, before it becomes enforceable. The lease should also state this fact on the front page. You have the right to cancel without penalty and receive a full refund of your deposit.
