All of canon's EF-mount lenses will fit on all camera bodies in the Canon EOS system. Simply, if the lens says "EF" on it, then it will fit any Canon camera that says "EOS" on it.
If it says EF-S on it, it won't fit on a EOS film body or a full-frame digital. EF-S lenses only work on EOS digital SLRs with APS-C sized sensors (Digital Rebel and 10/20/30/40/50D series)
If it says FD on it, it won't fit on any EOS body. These are the old manual-focus lenses from the 70's and early 80's.
Sorry No. and no one produces an adaptor to convert the praktica lenses to canon fit either.
All EF series lenses will work with the film Rebel or any other EOS film body. EF-S lenses are not compatible with film cameras or full-frame digitals.
The Canon Rebel film bodies use the EF mount lenses. All modern Canon EOS cameras, including all digital EOS cameras will also accept EF mount lense. The EF and EF-S lenses are compatible with the Rebel series. However, the lenses that typically come with a Rebel (EF-S) are compatible only with Canon cameras that have a 1.6 crop factor. Cameras with the 1.3 or no crop feature will not accept the EF-S lenses. The lens mounts deeper than the mirror will tolerate.
The short answer is "Yes." The long answer is: All Canon EOS cameras use Canon EF (electro-focus) lenses. They can also use independently made lenses with EF type camera mounts. All Canon DSLR (digital single lens reflex) cameras can use all Canon EF (or independent manufacturer equivalent) lenses made for film or digital cameras. Most Canon DSLR's have an APS-C sensor that measures 22.2 x 14.8mm. (This is smaller than the 36 x 24mm image size on 35mm film.) In 2003, Canon introduced EF-S lenses that were optimized for the APS-C sensor size. The EF-S lenses will only fit on Canon 20D, 30D, 40D, and 50D cameras (as of 2008) and all Canon Digital Rebel cameras.
Short answer,"yes." The Canon EF 200mmm lens is designed to fit a "full-frame" Canon EOS camera - film or digital. It will also fit all Canon DSLR's that have the smaller APS-size sensor, including all of the Digital Rebels.

The short answer is "Depends" The long answer is: From 1971 to 1987, Canon SLR bodies and lenses used the Canon FD mount. In 1987, Canon introuduced the EOS SLR system. All EOS cameras use Canon EF (auto focus) lenses. They can also use independently made lenses with EOS type camera mounts. Canon FD and EF lenses have completely different mounting connections and are not compatible with each other's camera bodies. Yes.
Short answer: Yes. Long answer: Canon digital cameras are divided into two classes: Those with APS-C sensors (Rebel, 30D/40D/50D), and those with full-frame sensors (5d, 5d Mark II, 1D Mark II, 1D Mark III, 1Ds Mark III, ...). Those with full-frame sensors are the most similar to film cameras. Canon lenses are similarly divided into two classes: EF-S lenses, and EF / L lenses. L lenses (a subset of EF lenses) are indicated by a red band around the front of the lens, and are the highest quality Canon lenses. A 35mm Canon prime lens is an EF lens. It will work on any Canon digital camera. All Canon lenses work on all Canon cameras, with the exception that Canon EF-S lenses only work on Canon digital cameras with APS-C sensors (Rebel, 30D/40D/50D), because the lens is too small to cover the full frame of larger cameras (5d, 5d Mark II, 1D Mark II, 1D Mark II, 1Ds Mark III, etc.).
18-55mm focal lenses are very good lenses for the Samsung digital camera. Other good lenses for the Samsung digital camera are the 28-90mm and 35mm focal lenses.
Canon EOS 500N is a 35mm film camera released in 1996.
If the name has any term like 35mm or anything of the like, it is a film camera, using 35mm roll film.
