No- Cyprus has no diseases that have not already been eradicated in Western Europe and the USA, and the animal disease Rabies has also been eradicated there.

There are a few species of snake on the island whose bite can be poisonous, the most dangerous being the Blunt-Nosed Viper, but although their venom can make you ill, it is not fatal and all hospitals and health centres on the island have ready stocks of antidote to hand.
