Dogs needs vaccine just like we do. When they are puppies it's for puppy plague and when they are older there are others they need. I would say it's even more important with dogs because animals are usually much more sensitive then we are.

You are lucky so far. She can get it from any other dog she meets. Speak to a vet or breeder and hear the truth. The first dog we were supposed to get died. ALL of them died in the puppy plague. Most insurance companies wont insure your dog without a vaccinations.

Please do not vaccinate your dog when it is sick as this can make it sicker. Give your dog time to rebuild its immune system. Your vet should check that your dog is in full health before any vaccination anyway :) hope this helps
