No - but if you intend on connecting that sink drain to your house, especially where there wasn't a sink drain before you started, probably.

The magic word here is "trap". Anytime a trap is involved, a permit is involved. Permits involved inspections. Inspectors hate do-it-your-selfers.

Add that a new drain trap generally requires a vent. A vent goes from the trap to to air above the house. This allows noxious gases from the sewer to go somewhere besides inside your home.

Unused bathtub smelling bad? Add a few cups of water to fill the trap. Add a few spoonfuls of vegetable oil to keep trapped water from evaporating as quickly. Or a cup, enough to fill the trap (more a winterizing trick).

That's possible but difficult and seemingly unnecessary. Why not just lead it's drain to the garden or to perimeter drain.

How do you use the bottom drain in an in ground pool?

Well, if you mean to drain the pool --- it is not a drain as in house plumbing -- the sink -- the tub. It is connected to the skimmer and that is connected to the pump. Your main drain is most likely 'working'. It does not nave to be a strong flow. Well, if you mean to drain the pool --- it is not a drain as in house plumbing -- the sink -- the tub. Siemens dishwasher will not drain?

If the dishwasher is hooked into a garburetor, there is a plug in the garburetor where the hose drain attaches that needs to be knocked out. The drain hose might be plugged where it joins to the plumbing drainage. The other problem, plumbing-wise, is the drain hose has to be fed as high as it can go under the sink and back down into the drain.

Do you use Draino for your drain cleaning?

No, I do not use Draino for drain cleaning. We have a garbage disposal in our kitchen sink so that keeps our drain free of clogs. We also tend to call a plumber of we have plumbing problems.

What does the plumbing look like for a double sink no garbage disposal and a dishwasher?

Most common is a center drain, but it can be at either side depending on where the drain goes into the wall. On the side closest to the dishwasher, the tail piece directly under the sink has a smaller tube in the side of it for the dishwasher drain.

Unclog Your Sink With A Plumbing Snake?

Clogged drains in the kitchen and bathroom can prove to be a problem. After you have tried liquid drain cleaners with no luck, try a plumbing snake. The snake is inserted into the drain and goes only a certain depth. If there is any kind of clog into the drain, it will either push it through the plumbing system or you can pull the clog out with the snake. Make sure that you are using the end of the plumbing snake that has the small hook on the end so you can easily pull anything out of the drain that may be stuck in it.

How do you plumb in a double sink?

Sorry but the original question can not be answered here, as you need to understand plumbing codes and in the end you must follow local codes. Same as this question, how to plumbing kitchen. There is too much involved to explain the process. I would suggest getting a book on plumbing to accomplish this task.
