Germany has also been one of the fiercest defenders of the historicity of the Holocaust, which shows to many younger Jews that Germany is a current ally in the fight against Anti-Semitism and has come to terms with its horrible past. Since Germany has accepted guilt for what it did, Jews are willing to have an open and honest relationship with Germans in a peaceful constructive manner.
