of course a human being has a soul! there are two types of souls; the good one which always guides us to the right path, and the bad soul which tries to divert our mind towards evil. When we die, our soul is only taken to God, while our body and flesh remain on earth. the person who was believer, his soul will be drawn gently from his flesh. but the person who was an unbeliever, his soul will be ripped violently.
I pray to Allah always that give us the power to control our soul!

∙ 8y agoNo, we do not. We believe that after we die that is it. We do not believe there is an after life as living is its own reward. Our purpose in life is to be the best human possible, and to help humanity in the best of our capabilities, no matter how large or small our contribution.

∙ 14y agoGenerally, humanists don't accept anything that is not a part of nature. Therefore, they are not generally concerned with the supernatural and 'souls' are an aspect of a belief in the supernatural. Humanism tends to exclude belief in things that are not supported by science.
Humanism supports values in the here and now rather than focusing on a belief in immortality. It holds that we have no knowledge of an afterlife and shouldn't be concerned with it. We should carry on with the guidance of our natural, inborn ethics.
