If you mean the type of plastic igloo that you buy in pet-shops to put in cages then , yes they do. Guinea pigs love to have a small private place to sleep at night. You don't have to buy one of these though, guinea pigs would be just as happy with a cardboard box that they could chew on , you'd have to change it every week , or else it would get soggy and disgusting.
Guinea pigs sleep in there cage on the floor.....Or if you dont like that you can buy little guinea pig beds at the petstore for luxury...
Yes.
Guinea pigs love to play so have some toys in there even if its just an empty toilet paper roll also pet stores sell igloos that the guinea pigs can sleep in and stuff even though you don't see them as often if you didn't get an igloo trust me they love the igloos and when their in there it makes them feel safe also a water bottle.
No. In the wild, guinea pigs would have to face the dark at nice so no you don't.
Guinea pigs are great pets that deserve a great home., Guinea pigs need a shelter or a cage that is big enough for your guinea pig to have a little area to eat and drink , one to sleep, and others.. I have two guinea pigs and their cage is is 4feet long.. That's what I have for two guinea pigs. They should have a little igloo for them to hide in or something similar like a little bridge or something. They should have proper bedding/litter. They need a bowl for food (pellets) and space for hay and either a water bottle or a water bowl.

Guinea pigs don't actually nest under their bedding like hamsters, but they do love to hide in spaces like their Igloo, and they like to crawl through tunnels and things. But make sure you guinea pig has alot of space to run in its cage. Hope this helps! :)
Yes that is fine it wont effect your guinea pigs.
