∙ 8y agoMainly vegetables and some fruits such as Apples, blueberries, papaya, peach, pear, pineapple, plums raspberries, etc. The one I had was a picky eater however and mostly enjoyed Timothy Hay. Timothy hay is very important in a piggy's diet and should be available at all times. Be careful because some commercial feeds are still high in alfalfa which has been found to be unhealthy for adult guinea pigs.
If you feed them fruits you should only feed once maybe even twice a week it can reduce how many times they go number 2
if on a diet however you do not need to feed fruit but vegetables be sure at least one type is a leafy green type but in general it would be wise to feed 3 vegetable servings per day to maintain good health. You should check a website to see how much feed to provide them with although they usually give you a care sheet before or after purchase in most pet stores.
