Well, not exactly. Flamingos live in large groups called colonies. Tens of thousands of flamingos can live in one colony. Sometimes flocks of different kinds of flamingos live in the same colony.

flamingos travel in groups. they are weak otherwise. but in groups, they seem to be more of a threat, fending off predators.

Flamingos do not hunt. They are filter feeders, they come to lakes by the millions in flocks and filter out the tiny little plankton that they eat.
