It's a GREAT guitar brand. It's one of the best almost-cheap ones out there. If you're looking to spend an arm and a leg, try getting a martin. Those truly are the best out there. They're like sometimes over $100,000 though.
Epiphone Guitars are authorized and professional copies of Gibson guitars. These replicas are sometimes very close to the real thing, but then, sometimes they are way off. Although, today, a new Epiphone is the closest you can get to a Gibson. It's almost the same construction-wise and even tone-wise. Don't expect it to sound like, feel like, and be a Gibson for about 20% of the price of a real Gibson, though. They are not bad at all, but for the price, it might be worth looking into some older, cheaper used Gibsons, or older Japanese copies like Tokai or Burny. They are even closer to a real Gibson, and are - usually - way better instruments than any Epiphone guitars.
It depends on which one you want. I've found that with epiphone guitars, if it's under $400, It's not really great. If it's over $400, go for it. Also, Epiphone firebird bass guitars are Very good.
i think they are all good. it depends on what you think at the store....which one feel right...
Yes, very good - only a step away from a true gibson, some can be as good as Gibsons even! - but you need a v good ear to figure which ones! - its a matter of every guitar is individual.
Most of them are but the manufacturer a lot of different models. If it's Gibson, and not Epiphone, they are made in America and should be good!
yes, i have one and it's great to play "sweet child o' mine"
but anyways yes its a very good guitar.
it is an AMAZING guitar. The sound is flawless but not perfect. and the weight is about 8 1/2 pounds
I love it and I think you should get it.
If you keep the guitar in good condition and keep it toned, many cheap guitars can have good quality. Some of these brands include Ibanez, Epiphones, Fender, and Ovation
Most of today's epiphones are made in China, Korea, Japan, and the US respectively.
Indeed its a really good guitar. I think the sound and the sustain is better than epiphones one. Epiphone is not worth the price, its just the name. So, yes, tanglewood eletric guitars are really good and are well finished also, so its completely worth buying it.
A Epiphone G400 guitar can be purchased in an local guitar store such as Guitar World. They offer a variety of different guitars and different models of Epiphones for a reasonable price.

The Squire guitars are very inexpensive and are good for beginners. They are made by Fender for beginners. If you want a better quality at a low cost look at the Epiphone guitars. Epiphones are made by Gibson as a beginner guitar, but are more expensive than the Squires. Squires cost within $100 - $200, and Epiphones have a wider range, from around $300 - $1500. You could also find a used guitar for much cheaper that has better quality. Just check the prices and availability as well as playing the guitar before you buy to get a feel for it.
Ibanez are made for soloing.
