the previous answer to this question was obvious very wrong and dangerous, it seems anything that produce a flame can produce CO, the more candles or smaller the room , seemingly the more danger, and this is from personal experience, I am alive but life is over, and don't depends on nausea or headache to warn you of a problem, for gods sake tell everyone you can whether you get CO or a lack of oxygen or whatever you will be horrible afterwards i can guarantee you assuming you live. read up on CO and you will see what i mean. just because you live doesn't mean you will want to be alive.
Anything that burns creates carbon monoxide in varying amounts when combusted, especially hydrocarbons.
Yes. As much as 557 mg for one stick. (A cigarette produces 60mg.)
No they give out C02 which is carbon dioxide
It does not contain carbon monoxide, but it will likely produce carbon monoxide when burned.
no that is carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide is CO
The chemical formula for the carbon monoxide is CO.
CO is the formula for carbon monoxide :)
The abbreviation for carbon monoxide (CO) is another way to say carbon monoxide.
no
No, because candles do not give off Carbon Monoxide.
Both. Cars emit Hydrocarbons + Nitrogen Oxides + Carbon Dioxide + Carbon Monoxide. People emit Methane and Carbon Dioxide.
very little since the invention of catalytic converters.
Yes gas and electic stoves do emit carbon monoxide, a stove left on to much and to often may cause light sickness.
The principle carbon emission from cars is carbon dioxide. There is some carbon monoxide in the direct engine exhaust if the engine does not have the right air/fuel mixture. This is usually removed by proper operation (since 1975) of the catalytic converter.
Will candle produce nitrogen when it's burning? The only substances produced are carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and water. Under perfect circumstances. So called efficient burning.
Cars run on burning of fossil fuel, which is mainly hydrocarbons, compound of carbon and hydrogen which on oxidation (burning) produces Carbon dioxide, water (and Carbon Monoxide if oxygen is not sufficient for combustion).
of course we breathe out carbon dioxide not carbon monoxide
Soda does not have any amounts of carbon monoxide. It has carbon dioxide dissolved in it, but no carbon monoxide.
It does not contain carbon monoxide, but it will likely produce carbon monoxide when burned.
no that is carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide is CO
