Although often exposed to bright sunlight, not all outdoor security cameras have anti-glare lenses. Most do, however if you are thinking of purchasing one and will need this feature it is best to check the product description before you decide.

Is there an advantage with anti-glare for eye glasses?

Yes. Anti- glare coatings reduce the amount of glare we receive on a daily basis. I highly recommend it if you are on the computer, watch a lot of TV or drive alot. It reduced the star patterns you see on headlights at night. It also makes the appearance of your glasses look better. People will be able to see through your lenses to your eye instead of a wash of glare. I highly recommend paying for the best anti-glare coating you can get because the lower quality ones are very hard to clean and tend to have flaws after a couple years. My experience has shown the more expensive coatings are usually warranted against scratches and flaws in the coating as well.

Can you use vinegar to clean plastic eye lenses that have been coated with anti glare and scratch tesistentr resistant products?

I would think not. When I got my glasses, which also have the non-glare coating, they told me that the coating is verysusceptible to scratching. I wouldn't think that vinegar would be good for the lenses. They tried selling be a bottle of "special cleaning solution" for $8, that was about 2 ounces. I have been using a high quality cleaning cloth and a spray bottle with distilled water. It works ok, but does not remove all film. Anyone else have a suggestion?
