Absolutely not!!!!!!

no but some of the episodes are based off one another
The creator is Hiromu Arakawa who wrote and illustrated Fullmetal Alchemist herself. The manga was then adapted by Bones into an animated series titled the same as the manga, Fullmetal Alchemist that consist of 51 episodes. Another series, a remake of the first series was then aired with the title Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood.
There is only one real Fullmetal Alchemist. The first anime that has been made is different from the original story. The main schme is the same, but the are only view times when it goes along with the manga. Now they made a new version of the anime called "Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood" which follows the manga story. You can watch the episodes from youtube couple days after the Japanese relase. New episode comes weekly and they have made 28 episodes until now.
There are 64 episodes, They have been subbed as of what I know.2011 they can be found in English dub at dubhappy.com
Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood is basicly the same thing as Full Metal Alchemist but Fma Brotherhood follows the plot of the manga more that Fma. So Fma Brotherhood is NOT a continuation of Fma.
In Fullmetal Alchemist, Envy shows up in episode 2 to impersonate Cornello. In Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Envy shows up in episode 3 for the same reason.
they are exactly the same plotline as the first fma. maybe a few changes, but the same base. the 2 series split up at about episode 14 or fifteen of brotherhood. i really hope this helped! :)
There may be some voice actors returning for the English dub of Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, but it depends on various factors such as availability and casting decisions by the dubbing studio.
If you mean new episodes as in continuation of the first Fullmetal Alchemist series, then the answer is, no, they are not. But a new series titled Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood was released, the difference is mainly on the plot. This whole new series is similar to the still unfinished manga plot line.
Sort of, the movie is a continuation of the series, so it pretty much done after the movie.Yes.
yes, Ed and Al they are reunited in Full Metal Alchemist The Movie: Conqueror of Shamballa. There is also a movie that came out in 2011 Full Metal Alchemist The Movie: The Sacred Star of Milos. Also, there was recreated series called FullMetal Alchemist Brotherhood. In the first 20 episodes, it is about the same as FMA, but then takes a HUGE turn. Its pretty good too,
I suggest you watch Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood first. It is better to understand the basics of the story first than to suddenly jump on the movie. Otherwise you will get confused by the many characters and the terms in the movie. But, if you have watched Fullmetal Alchemist (the first Fullmetal Alchemist anime, it has a big difference with Brotherhood but the basics of the story are the same) you should just go for the movie, since you are already familiar with the characters and terms.
Absolutely not. Chrono Trigger and Fullmetal Alchemist have different creators. Chrono Trigger also has monsters, magicians, as well as a political system that differs from Fullmetal Alchemist. Fullmetal Alchemist on the other hand does not have monsters that frequently (and commonly) roam around, nor do they have magic users.
