Chinese should not believe in Buddha:
I have learned when I was grade 6th that a person that made peace through the world. Jesus was the one who created him and Chinese had created Budha to be the God. I hate the way they imagined Budha to be the god except how the way they invented things. Almost every items is created by China. Jesus has created those things and China just made it more special they should believe in Jesus Christ the Holy Spirit. I am not fighting who do they believe I am just saying... It is like the movie name "Clash Of the Titans" there is no Sun of the God and every character that is God. Its just a fable.... Do you believe Santa Claus? Do you believe Sun of the God? Do you believe Sea of the God? And every impossible things that we can't do so every God have to do it? If you answer "no".......then..... There is only one God that we know it is Jesus!
Comment to the bottom (Don't destroy the comment up):

People who believe in Buddha are commonly called Buddhists. They practice Buddhism
some Filipinos do believe that and some are Muslims too! but mostl Filipinos are christians Filipino buddhists do believe in Buddha of course. There are Buddhist Temples here Some buy images of Buddha and display it in their houses although they are not buddhists. They think that it is good luck and Filipinos are also influenced by the Chinese culture. There is even a place in Manila called China Town because many Chinese businessmen established their businesses there and you can buy many Buddha images there of different colors and sizes.
There is no relationship between Buddha and dragon. But some of Chinese gods can see along with the dragon because they believe dragon as holy animal.
Do the Chinese people believe in immortality?
the reason there is a fat Chinese buddha is due to the fact that the Chinese adopted the buddha and altered it because in china the more heavy set you are the more "wealthy" you are...there are in fact two different sides of this believe system

No, Chinese New Year is not a religious festival; it is a new year based on the traditional Chinese calendar. Not all Chinese are Buddhists, many have different religions ranging from Taoism to Christianity. Therefore, people may worship Buddha on Chinese New Year, but it is not a custom belonging to Chinese New Year, but more of a personal practice of Buddhists.
