Yes, some do, though mostly only older generations I believe.
However, this only happens in the southern portions of China (excluding Hong Kong where it is illegal).
The Chinese government have even been considering banning it since last year.

Yes. Some Chinese do eat dogs but it is nowhere as common as stereotype states. The consumption of dogs is generally regionally dependent and typically only eaten as an exclusive dish. The vast majority have actually never eaten a dog.
