No, at that time Abraham did not have many bodyguards... that's why it was easy for John Booth to get into the booth which Lincoln sat with his wife. (Booth was an actor there so no one question why he was there even though he was not in the play at the time.

John F. Parker.

Parker was to have been standing guard outside of the locked door of the President's State Box or State Room, at Ford's Theater but was nowhere to be found, and the door to the State Box had been left unlocked.

On the night of April 14, 1865, after the Lincolns and their guests arrived and were seated, inside the State Box, Parker took a seat in the small passageway just outside the State Box but later decided to change seats, so he could hear and see the play.

At the intermission of Our American Cousin, Charles Forbes (Lincoln's footman) and Parker invited Francis P. Burke (Lincoln's coachman) to join them for a drink at the saloon next to Ford's Theatre. Whether Parker ever returned to the theater that night is unknown for certain. When John Wilkes Booth entered the State Box, Parker was either still in the saloon or back in a theater seat from which he could both see and hear the play.

No. Abraham Lincoln proposed the idea of the secret service on April 14, 1865, (the day of his assassination). However, the idea wasn't commissioned until July of 1865.
