The wise men (magi) of Matthew's Gospel saw Jesus in a house (Matt 2:11), not a manger.
The manger is part of Luke's Gospel.
The manger, Jesus, Mary, the angel, the three wise men, and the sheppard. (see Google images) Also, the cross and presents.
The angel did not visit the wise men, it was by a bright star that they came to see Jesus.
To bring gifts...
Bethleham - at their home when Jesus was 2 yrs old.
We really have no idea. We do not know how many shepherds came to see Jesus and we are not sure of how many wise men came to see Jesus. There were three gifts, but that does not tell us how many wise men there were.

Yes it is true that the wise men came to see Jesus . As History states that King Herod ordered all boys below two years to be killed as the wisemen cheated King Herod.
Gaspar, Balthasar, and Melchior.
God put four Gospels in our bible to fill out the story of Jesus Christ. In the Gospel of Matthew we have the birth of Jesus and Matthew tells us about the wise men who came from the East to pay homage to the new born King. If we did not have the Gospel of Luke then we would only know of the Wise Men. But Luke fills in another portion of the birth of Jesus by telling us of the shepherds who came to see Jesus also and pay homage to Him in the manger as it was told to them by God. You see there were two groups of people who came to see Jesus, the new born King. First it was the shepherds who came to see Jesus on the night He was born and then some time later (less than two years as some say) the Wise men from the East came to see Jesus. They had traveled many, many miles taking many days and perhaps several months following a star that guided them to first Jerusalem and then to Bethlehem where Jesus was born. That is the difference the two Gospels show us to give us a bigger story.
after he was born there was a big star three wise men went to give him beautiful stuff then everyone near there went to see him :]
Because they were wise men and saw his star in the East and followed it to Jesus' birth place.
