He tried, 3 times, Portugal was the only country that didn't close the frontiers to England so we had their help in the battles. the first one was a disappointment. The french came and only with the help of the English we didn't lose. The second time he didn't went for the capital, I guess he wanted to start conquering from up to down, the people grabbed anything, and I mean anything they could and ran the french out. The third time he goes to the north again, and this time the English helped the Portuguese and Napoleon failed.
