We do not know for sure if Homer really existed. So we do not know if he had children. What we know is that somebody wrote the Iliad and The Odyssey and we attribute these to a possibly existing person called Homer.

∙ 10y agoWe don't know for certain even if he really existed. There were hundreds of bards who roamed around singing the stories of the heroic age. After cursive writing was invented, some of the versions of their stories were written down. A version which has survived was ascribed to 'Homer the blind poet of Chios'. But we know really nothing about him.
