∙ 14y agoNo. After his parents divorced and his father returned to Kenya, the two had relatively little contact. The only subsequent time they saw each other is when his father visited him in Hawaii for a month when he was eleven. Barack has visited Kenya three times as an adult, all after his father had died.

∙ 13y agoSo many people are trying to say that Obama might have been born in Mombassa, Kenya because his grandmother mentioned "Barak was born in the Mombassa Hospital." However, his grandmother also called Barak 's father Barack and she said he was the one he was talking about, not the son, who changed his name to Barak when he was a young Muslim in Indonesia.
However, as Barak , our president's father, met Stanley, our preisdent's mother, while attending school in Hawaii. She was reportedly unaware he was already married with children in Kenya when she was dating him.
If our president's mother, Stanely, never went to Kenya then how could our president have been born in Kenya? that would mean he was indeed born in Hawaii.
That is why I want to know if our president's mother ever visited Kenya.
. How did she become aware of his wife and children in Kenya if she was not in Kenya herself.

∙ 11y agoPresident Barack Obama never lived in Kenya, and only attended school in the United States, except for a brief four-year period when he attended school in Indonesia. But his father did live in Kenya, and his father attended school there (his father had the same name, so that has created some confusion for some online sources).
