Interesting. I don't know definitively, but I would think that after coming off the pill it would take a while for your body to adjust from thinking it was pregnant all the time to thinking, hey maybe it's time to get pregnant again!
Normally I would say you can get pregnant everytime you have sex with no protection as long as you happen to be ovulating, but as you have had no period, and your test is negative, I would put a reasonable amount of mortgage money down in Vegas that you are not pregnant.
I assume, as you are off the pill, that you want to become pregnant, (or even if you don't) so you might find some help from this site :

Phil
after having a miscarriage 6 months ago my period is 4 days late.took pregnancy test it came back negative am i pregnant
The negative pregnancy test is the defining answer, regarding pregnancy - once your period is a week or so late - if you are pregnant, the hCG will be high enough to be detected.
you might be pregnant. get a pregnancy test.
. . . means that you arent pregnant.
I am two months late and i have taken a test sometimes twice a week and they say negative. what is going on?
No you can't be pregnant and still have your period. You can have a light bleed but not a period. As for the whole negative test thing, it could be a false negative.
You are pregnant
Yes
Unlikely - the bleeding probably was your period
Having your period means you aren't pregnant
Pregnancy tests are not 100% accurate, but being that it was negative and you got your period, I'd say you are definitely not pregnant.
Your period shouldn't affect the test! There is really no point in doing a pregnancy test during a period. Usually, if you are having a period you are not pregnant. A pregnancy test senses the BHCG hormone so your period should not affect it.
