I've noticed that this condition has become prevalent in other women in my age group; and can only think that -- thru my eyes --
- many of us have been going thru tough times psychologically since 2001.
- married w/kids with some/all parents still living -- this is the 'sandwich' generation;
- eventually having to care for/supporta parent's illness while continuing to be 'super' parent;
- depression, exhaustion, isolation follows -- and the real kicker is thatsooner or lateris a 'domino effect'that goes thruthe family unit -- ours has lasted four years, my husband has been the last one to experience this.
