yes but you should not, it can affect how it works. Amoxicillin should be taken with food. 500 mg every 6-8 hours for 8-10 days depending on what you have. but no less than 8 days. Drink lots of water, eat real good and it will work you can take ambroxol for your cough or ask for something stronger if you need it.

Its sister drugs in the penicillin line, had no changed effect, or lost effectiveness so its not the same with all antibiotics
