Taking lorazepam and trazodone together can be potentially dangerous, as their effects on the respiratory system can add synergistically resulting in respiratory depression. Your doctor should be able to determine the correct strengths of the two medications to determine whether or not they will have this detrimental, and possibly life threatening, side effect.

My son takes 5mg of lexapro and 300mg trileptal so I know they can be used together. Whether it is what you need or not (or will work) you need to speak with your dr. Most of these meds are trial and err to get the right mix!

no they cannot , you risk getting serotonim syndrom which can make you sick, moody, not think clearly and even death . if you are not sure for future question drugs.com is a wonderful resource.
