I have heard a lot of debate about this.. I have heard that you can see for 3 seconds after you've been decapitated, because that's how long it takes for the blood to seep out of your neck. Of course, the jugular vein is severed, which contains a LOT of blood, so IF you could see after you were decapitated, it would probably be shorter than 3 seconds.
